BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Geotechnical, Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections for Eastway Regional Recreation Center, Northern Regional Recreation Center, and American Legion Memorial Stadium.


PROCUREMENT BACKGROUND:
On August 2, 2018 a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was advertised in The Charlotte Observer, the Charlotte Post and on the State of North Carolina Interactive Purchasing System website. The selection of the consulting firms followed NC General Statute 143-64.31 and the Selection of Engineers and Surveyors policy of the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners which prescribes a qualifications-based selection process.

Per the Board's instructions, the Selection Committee submits the following report:
