ACTION:
Amend the 2023-2024 Annual Budget Ordinance to recognize, receive, and appropriate an increase in Medicaid revenue and expenses in the amount of $186,000 from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to the General Fund (0001) for the transportation program in the Department of Child, Family, and Adult Services.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Mecklenburg County Transportation program within the Department of Child, Family, and Adult Services is in need of recognizing and appropriating additional funding for Medicaid related clients, in the amount of $186,000. The additional funding will be used for expenses such as bus passes and the temporary personnel services through employment agencies needed for the call center within the Mecklenburg Transportation program. The expenses will be funded with Medicaid revenues generated and received by the program.
