BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
On April 30, 2019 a mass shooting occurred on the campus of UNC-Charlotte resulting in the loss of lives, injuries to others, and trauma, not only to the UNC-Charlotte family, but the entire community. This proclamation is to recognize the two-year anniversary and to honor the heroes and victims of that mass shooting.
