Amend the 2020-2021 Annual Budget Ordinance to recognize, receive and appropriate a donation of $4,620 to the General Fund (0001) within the Park and Recreation Department from Partners for Parks for the purchase of fans

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Partners for Parks donated $4,620 to Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation to purchase 300 fans for distribution to Senior Citizens of Mecklenburg County. These fans were in addition to the 600 fans that Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation distributed in partnership with Centralina Area Agency on Aging. A total of 900 fans were distributed county wide. The fans were purchased during Summer 2020. The donation is considered a reimbursement of cost.
Partners for Parks aims to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Mecklenburg County and the surrounding region by preserving, promoting and enhancing the parks, greenways, open spaces, active play and recreational opportunities within our community.
