BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Mecklenburg County Health Department is requesting approval to apply for funding from the Center for Sharing Public Health Services for an eight-month period (September 20, 2019 - May 22, 2020). Grant funds will be used to:
Secure technical assistance from an appropriate consultant or national provider for guidance in implementing Strategic Business Plan Objective 3.1; Strategy 3.1a -Create a vision for the future of public health in Mecklenburg County; Develop awareness and understanding of Public Health 3.0.The grant application is due August 16, 2019.
