b. A decrease of $191,373 from the Mecklenburg Partnership for Children

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
A. NC DHHS awards federal and state funds to the Department to support public health programs. The Department received notification that funding has been modified. The net increase of $284,079 in federal and state funds consist of the following:
• Healthy Communities: a decrease of $5,625
• Family Planning: an increase of $98,272
• Refugee Health Assessments: an increase of $10,780
• TB Control: a decrease of $1,509
• Breast & Cervical Cancer Control: an increase of $55,200
• Emergency Overdose: an increase of $17,700
• NC Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis: increase of $38,000
• WIC: an increase of $71,261
B. The Department received notification that funding for the Smart Start Healthy Families program is being reduced. This is a reduction of funding of $191,373.
