Approve expenditure of $60,000 from the Golf Course Capital Reserve fund for renovations to the picnic pavilion at Sunset Hills Golf Course
Renovations will include drainage repairs around the shelter, new roofing, new concrete flooring, siding replacement and stone columns

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
County staff have worked with the contractor that maintains County golf courses covered under the Capital Reserve Accounts and have established this requested list of improvements to help preserve the shelter and to make quality courses available to the public. The picnic pavilion is located by the entrance to the golf course and is a highly visible amenity that needs upgrades. A renovated pavilion will be a better site for tournaments and events.
PROCUREMENT BACKGROUND:
The current contractor has first right to any work on the golf courses, per the contract agreement, and would handle the majority of projects. All projects will be bid and reviewed with County staff. Funds will be encumbered and be spent over the remaining FY19 and completed in FY20.

Capital Reserve Account will be encumbered and spent during FY19 and FY20 to complete the projects described. The total for all projects will be $60,000.
