BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
In 2018 Habitat for Humanity Charlotte, in cooperation with the Lakewood Neighborhood Alliance, Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful, Charlotte Community Toolbank, and Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, completed the “Keep Lakewood Beautiful Day.” Habitat for Humanity Charlotte has decided to continue this partnership with Park and Recreation and will provide renovations for basketball courts at Lakewood Neighborhood Park, owned by Mecklenburg County.
