BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners would like to receive an update on recent U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activities in Mecklenburg County in light of the termination of the agreement between the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, Mecklenburg County, the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security and ICE by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
