BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

Due to the enhanced level of service to citizens associated with the opening of Fire Station #4 on McIlwaine Road, the Town of Huntersville is requesting a drawdown of $104,921 from its fund balance. The request is directly attributable to the opening of the fourth station, which occurred on May 12, 2018 and serves the Huntersville ETJ. The expense of $104,921 is commensurate with the full year operating costs of that station.
