BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Ratcliffe Golf Services operates Dr. Charles Sifford, Charles T. Myers, Sunset Hills and Harry L. Jones, Sr. Golf Courses. In accordance with the Management Agreements between the County and Ratcliffe Golf Services, green and cart fees shall be subject to approval by the Board of County Commissioners. Fee increases are requested due to increased cost of operations. Ratcliffe Golf Services has not requested a fee increase since July 1, 2015. The proposed green and cart fee increases range from $1.00 to $5.00 during various playing times. Driving range fees are proposed to increase a $1.00 per bucket. Details of the proposed fee changes are attached and will be effective July 1, 2018.
Ramblewood Soccer Inc. operates multipurpose fields at Ramblewood Park. Section 8.13 of the Management Agreement 40012.02 states that the Contractor acknowledges that the field rental fees and other necessary fees are annually set by the Board of County Commissioners for Park and Recreation facilities which shall determine the fee amounts charged by the Contractor. Fee increases of an additional $5/hr for field rental ($2.50/30 min rental) are requested due to increased cost of operations. Ramblewood Soccer Inc. has not requested an athletic field rental fee increase since July 1, 2016. A listing of the proposed fee increases are attached and will be effective July 1, 2018.
