This interlocal agreement is between the Town of Pineville and Mecklenburg County for funding of a joint storm water, water quality project on and adjacent to Little Sugar Creek in Pineville. The County will design and construct a stream enhancement/stabilization project on a tributary to Little Sugar Creek. The project is approximately 500 linear feet of stream from Leitner Drive to the confluence with Little Sugar Creek. The Town of Pineville will fund the design and construction of stream enhancement/stabilization for the Unnamed Tributary of Little Sugar Creek (“UT1”). The Board approved the selection of Wildlands Engineering, the design engineering firm for this project, on February 3, 2015.
The County will oversee and manage the project from design through construction while coordinating closely with the Town. The interlocal agreement includes compensation to the County for the Town’s portion of design and construction in the amount of $68,575.
