BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
According to Article I of the Charter of the Mecklenburg County Air Quality Commission (AQC), the AQC shall submit an annual written report as to its activities, programs, and progress to the Board of County Commissioners. Pursuant to that Charter provision, the AQC submits the attached report to the Board of County Commissioners.
AQC Chairman Peter McGrath, will provide a verbal summary of the report, an update on air quality in Mecklenburg County and be available to answer questions about the work of the AQC.
