BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

Net proceeds of $40,587.21 were realized from the vehicle auction this fall. The Department of Social Services sold four vehicles for a net of $3,770.25 that were originally funded by the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). Regulations require the sale proceeds from NCDOT funded vehicles be used by the DSS transportation unit. Of the remaining, $31,994.95 would be appropriated to the Fleet Reserve and $4,822.02 to Parks & Recreation.
