BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The USTA of North Carolina is offering a matching 10 and Under Equipment Grant. This grant will allow Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation to receive $2,400 worth of equipment for an investment of $1,344 ($1,194 for equipment and $150 to cover shipping). Partners for Parks will pay the $1,344 to the USTA from the Partners for Parks Tennis account. The equipment will be used for youth lessons and clinics held at: Park Road Park, Jeff Adams Tennis Center, Freedom Park, Latta Park, Veterans Park, and Colonel Francis Beatty Park.
This grant is open until funds are depleted.
