BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The County, along with several other community partners have been collaborating on a vision plan for the North Tryon Corridor. As a major property owner in the corridor which includes the Hal Marshall Center and Spirit Square, the County has a vested interest in the vision for the area. In addition, as a major funding partner to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library, the County works closely on capital planning for the library system, which includes the main branch which is located in the North Tryon study area.
The Plan is complete and the respective governing boards are being asked to adopt the plan.
