BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The County recently developed a strategic planning framework that aligns core enterprise-wide initiatives that include, but are not limited to, corporate goals, measures and strategies; workplans (key initiatives & key performance indicators); department strategic business plans and the Mecklenburg Livable Communities Plan. Commissioners will receive information regarding the framework, the County's approach to developing 3-year department strategic business plans and an overview of how departments align to key strategies and action items within the Mecklenburg Livable Communities Plan.
