BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Coalition for Housing ("CMCH") is continuing its progress on their Strategic Plan, which addresses the issues associated with homelessness. Some strategies related to the Plan include: release of a joint City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County and the Charlotte Housing Authority Request for Proposals for Rental Assistance, Supportive Services and Development Funding for Affordable Supportive Housing; development of a data mart (UNC Charlotte) to enable data-informed resource allocation decisions and monitoring of the community's unfolding Intake and Coordinated Assessment process. County funding will support a number of these activities in FY14 and FY15.
