Appropriate $150,000 in available fund balance from the Public Golf Courses Consolidated Capital Reserve Fund (9002) for infrastructure repair

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

In order for the golf course to remain operational and safe for patrons, some infrastructure repair work is required for the upcoming golf season. These repairs will include golf cart path re-paving, direct settling mitigation at the storm drains, settling repair at hole 18, replacement of HVAC system in clubhouse and irrigation/drainage repairs. This work will total $150,000.

 

 

PROCUREMENT BACKGROUND:

The current golf course operator has the first right to any work on the course, per the contract agreement, and would handle the majority of the projects.  All work will be bid and reviewed with County staff.  Funds will be encumbered and spent over FY 21.
