Approve a request for a capital improvement fund to be created for FY26 for the construction of a new store located at 20215 West Catawba Ave for $6,000,000

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

NC GS 18B-805 (d) allows for Alcoholic Beverage Control Boards to set aside a portion of gross receipts as a fund for specific capital improvements. To do so requires approval from its appointing authority (Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners. This project will be fully funded with the passing of FY 27 budget.
