BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

As a requirement of JDSI LLC’s subdivision approval with the City of Charlotte, the developer of the Drayton subdivision in southeast Charlotte proposes donation of property along McAlpine Creek for future greenway trail construction. This section of McAlpine Creek is not currently planned for construction. Acceptance of this property is supported by the County's adopted Park and Recreation Master Plan.
