BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Mecklenburg County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) received $2,051,713 in FY27 funding from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety. Board approved item #26-0151 on April 21,2026, to recognize, receive, and appropriate the funds for Mecklenburg County Criminal Justice Services. The funding plan update is due to one program, Teams Up COnnections is changing part of its in-kind contribution.
