ACTION:

Amend and adopt the required grant project ordinance for the US Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America - Ryan White HIV/AIDS program Parts A and B to increase the award in the amount of up to $16,832,000 in the General Grant Fund (G001) within Public Health.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

The US Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program grant, originally approved via RFBA #25-0172 for up to $4,208,000, has increased federal revenue and expenses in the amount of $16,832,000 for a total award of $21,040,000. Grant funds will be used to fund the counties in the Charlotte-Gastonia Transitional Grant Area (TGA): Anson, Cabarrus, Gaston, Mecklenburg, and Union counties in NC and York County in SC.
