BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Board will receive an outline of the proposed process for the Board's recruitment and hiring of a county manager that includes selecting a recruitment firm. Subsequently, at its June 4 meeting, the Board will receive a more detailed project plan for this recruitment/hiring process, and will be asked at that time to approve a project plan. Therefore, the workshop briefing is intended only to introduce the project plan concept in outline form. Board questions, discussion and approval of a recruitment/hiring project plan will occur at the June 4 meeting.
