BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The former County Manager in coordination with the Board of County Commissioners directed the Asset and Facility Management Department to begin tracking the participation of Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) at the prime contract level for the selection of both Architects and Construction Managers At-Risk. Subsequently, County Manager Michael Bryant requested that a report be presented to the Board which would include information regarding the criteria used for the short-listing and selection of firms, as well as data on the participation of MBE firms at the prime contract level for fiscal years 2024-2026.
