BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

On April 7, 2020 the Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution to establish the COVID-19 Small Business Emergency Stabilization Loan Fund, a small business loan fund to provide temporary, emergency operating capital to small businesses located in Mecklenburg County facing adverse economic impacts from the COVID-19 including layoffs, bankruptcy or closure.
