BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

The Board of County Commissioners recognizes Homelessness Awareness Month to raise awareness of the needs of homeless individuals and families in Mecklenburg County.  The observance of this month serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about issues relating to housing insecurity and homelessness.
