Amend the 2024-2025 Annual Budget Ordinance to recognize, receive and appropriate an increase in federal revenue and expenses in the amount of $233,854 from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Social Services to the General Fund (0001) in the Department of Child, Family, and Adult Services

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Social Services allocates funding to Mecklenburg County for child care. The 2025 fiscal year funding was increased in the amount of $233,854 totaling $2,699,507 for Non Smart Start administrative support services. Mecklenburg County contracts with Child Care Resources, Inc. (CCRI) which works with families and communities to ensure that all children have access to high quality, affordable early learning and school-age opportunities and experiences that enable them to succeed in school and in life.
