BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
On January 5, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved the addition of an agenda topic to the second Regular meeting of the month entitled Public Art Moment. The item, with the help of the Arts & Science Council, will highlight a piece of public art - a different one each month. The purpose of this item is to raise public awareness and appreciation for the tax dollars that are spent on public art each year. This month's featured art piece is called "The Action of Water" by IlaSahia Prouty of Bakersville, NC. This project is located at the Medical Examiner's Office in District 2.
