BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

The subject property owner, Camden Bowman, LLC, has proposed to donate Tax Parcel 011-242-46 (+/- 0.999 acres) and an Access Easement (+/- 0.630 acres) for future Ramah Creek Greenway in Huntersville required for rezoning purposes.

 

The Donation by Camden Bowman, LLC will allow the County to construct an expansion of the future greenway in this area and provide access for the residents in the Camden Subdivision.

 

The donation is consistent with Park and Recreation’s Greenway Master Plan that calls for the addition of parkland, greenway and open space within the County. It is also consistent with the County’s Environmental Leadership Action Plan.
