BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Harrisburg Park has 2 synthetic turf fields that have reached their useful life of 10 years. The fields will be replaced during a time of year that causes the least impact to residents and rentals. The current expense budget has $917,000 available to assist with the $1.1 million needed to replace the two fields. The department has identified the additional funding of $200,000 from operational savings through lapsed salaries.
