BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

August 26, 2026 is the 106^th anniversary of U.S. women winning the right to vote. This year’s Women’s Equality Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, and will feature inclusive programming to recognize progress, acknowledge ongoing challenges, and inspire community engagement in pursuit of gender equity.
