Presentation:      No

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

This is a partnership with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) to split the cost for installation of an irrigation system at E.E. Waddell High School football field, allowing Park and Recreation to use the field to host all athletic rentals that were scheduled at Southside Park for at least the next 2 years. Southside Park has been closed for evaluation/testing from the recommendation of NC Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). CMS is reimbursing the County for half the cost of the irrigation system in order to maintain the field at game ready standards.
