BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Employee Homeownership Pathways (EHOP) initiative is a County-led effort designed to expand access to homeownership opportunities for Mecklenburg County employees. The initiative focuses on increasing awareness, providing education, and connecting employees to trusted housing partners who offer a range of options.
EHOP is structured to support employees at varying stages of readiness by creating a clear and accessible pathway to navigate the process and progress toward ownership. Through strategic partnerships and coordinated outreach, the initiative aims to strengthen workforce stability and support employees in building long-term financial stability.
