Recognize, receive and appropriate $3,742,267 in funding from Alliance Health to the General Grant Fund (G001) for Mecklenburg County’s Facility Based Crisis Center

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

Mecklenburg County partnered with Alliance Health to establish and operate an Adult 24/7 Crisis and Assessment Center with the goals of stabilizing people in crisis, decreasing  emergency department use and reducing psychiatric boarding.  This action combined with previously approved funding will bring total funds for this initiative to $19,955,357 as shown in the following table:
