BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
It is important to recognize the valuable service and contribution of members serving on the County's advisory boards and commissions. These volunteers dedicate significant time, expertise, and effort to the County.
The ad hoc committee would review current recognition practices from our staff liaisons and other jurisdictions and explore meaningful, sustainable ways to acknowledge those members for their public service. The committee's recommendations would be brought back before the full board at a future meeting for its consideration and potential implementation.
