BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
As part of the development of the FY2027 Recommended Budget, the County Manager will consider a funding request from the court officials. Representatives from Mecklenburg County Courts will present the court officials' budget request to the Board of County Commissioners. The court officials' budget request includes funding for the District Attorney's Office, Public Defender's Office, and the Clerk of Superior Court's Office.
