BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
CMS is considering a series of security upgrades at local schools. The upgrades being considered were developed by a team that included CMS, law enforcement and information technology staff. CMS is requesting that the County fund these items as part of the FY2014 capital program. The purpose of the briefing is to provide information about the project to the Board of County Commissioners. The project will be presented to the Board for approval in March 2013.
