BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Advisory Board (“SBEAB”) was established in 2013 by the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners ("BOCC").  The purpose of this advisory board shall be to provide resident input, evaluations and recommendations relating to the interests, concerns and issues of small businesses and entrepreneurs in Mecklenburg County in coordination and cooperation with the Mecklenburg Office of Economic Development.

 

Bylaws were created for the SBEAB but were not formally approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
