BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:

The Mecklenburg County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) received $2,051,713 in FY24 funding from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety. The Board approved item #24-0206 on April 16, 2024, to recognize, receive, and appropriate the funds for Mecklenburg County Criminal Justice Services. This funding plan update is due to one of the programs, Team-Up Connections-Group Mentoring changing the amount of their local In-Kind funding.
