BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
At the Board of County Commissioners Annual Retreat, the Environmental Leadership Panel highlighted the County’s progress to date on the Environmental Leadership Action Plan, shared the challenges and complexities of accomplishing the goals, presented potential strategies for addressing barriers, and posed policy questions for BOCC consideration. Today, the leadership will provide an update on the plans (strategies and actions) aligned to the Net Zero Carbon and Park Land Acquisition Policy Discussions.
