Gun violence is a major public health issue effecting thousands across the United States each year from gun-assaults, homicides, suicides, mass shootings, and intimate partner violence. Mecklenburg County and the City of Charlotte are committed to reducing gun violence and will continue to support initiatives which create a safer community.
