Inform the Board of County Commissioners of a proposed amendment to legislation from the NC General Assembly governing the Interstate 77 South Express project.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Last month, the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO) revoked its support of the funding agreement for the Interstate 77 South toll lane project. The proposed legislative amendment from Senator Vickie Sawyer of the Mecklenburg delegation, is in response to the CRTPO decision. Staff will ensure the Board is informed of the proposed amendment.
