BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Mecklenburg County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) received $2,051,713 in FY24 funding from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety. Board approved item #23-0384 on June 21,2023, to recognize, receive, and appropriate the funds for Mecklenburg County Criminal Justice Services. This funding plan update is due to two of the programs, Team-Up Connections and Youth Style Fitness changing part of its local funding and in-kind contributions.
