BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Mecklenburg County Health Department is updating the environmental health fee schedule. The state of NC recently approved implementation of a fee for review of a modified plot plan for commercial projects that include a septic permit which would need to be re-issued when a modification request is submitted by contractors.
Due to the current nationwide shortage of Bicillin to treat syphilis infection, the FDA is allowing the temporary importation of Lentocillin. This injectable medication will be used within the STI program during the shortage of Bicillin.
