BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Effective 23:59 hrs on June 30, 2020, the Mint HiIl VFD will no longer provide fire services to the fire district. Mint Hill Volunteer Fire Department is requesting the approval to transfer its assets, including vehicles, apparatus and equipment to the Town of Mint Hill, which upon approval of this transfer will assume the duties of fire protection for the entire district, including the existing extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ).
