BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
As part of the FY2027 Adopted Budget, the Board approved a $700,000 unrestricted contingency budget to fund unplanned expenses throughout the fiscal year at their discretion. The funding source for the unrestricted contingency is fund balance. Recently, the Chairman for the Center for Community Transitions submitted a request for "emergency funding" in the amount of $25,000. Justin Perry, Chairman for the Center for Community Transitions, will address the Board regarding the funding request.
