The subject parcel is located in southeast Charlotte in the neighborhood of Sherwood Forrest. The property owners, Hank and Lucy Dickens, wish to donate the property (+/- .8905 acres) to the County to be incorporated into the McMullen Creek Greenway system. The property is located entirely in the floodplain.
