BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
On May 18, 2024 at midnight, Wellpath, MCSO’s current medical and mental health services provider, will cease to provide services. The MCSO has entered into agreement with VitalCore Health Strategies, LLC to assume responsibility for provision of medical and mental health services, to begin effective May 19, 2024. The MCSO went through a Request for Proposal process where VitalCore submitted their bid. Through a rigorous selection process, the MCSO selected VitalCore to be the new medical and mental health services provider. The MCSO requests that the Board of County Commissioners approve the contract between the MCSO and VitalCore Health Strategies, LLC.
